Vilamoura is the playground for the rich and famous. Just a 10 minute stroll away from the apartment, you will find the most exclusive marina on the Algarve, having been awarded with a prestigious Five Star Gold Anchors Award in recognition of the top class facilities on offer.

 

The marina hosts some of the most expensive yachts and boats, and is a pleasure to walk around. The restaurants available to sample is a gastronomic delight for any food lover, you will find something to suit everyone’s taste. Thai, Indian, Chinese, Steak houses, Portuguese speciality, there is even a Michelin * restaurant “Willies”.

There are numerous bars and café’s all around the marina, which gets extremely busy in high season. One of the most infamous bars is Bar Sete (seven) also known as Figo’s Bar, (the Portuguese footballer), you will see the likes of John Terry (Chelsea), Cristiano Ronaldo (Man U) or Michael Owen (Newcastle) walking by, they all own properties here, just look for a silver Ferrari in July or August and you may just spot one of them.

 

The Casino is a short distance from the Marina, hosting a huge theatre where they very often have a show and dinner, they also have all the normal games you would expect to find at a casino. They have a nightclub called Blackjack should you want to stay up later than the usual closing times of the bars which is around 2am.

There are plenty of supermarkets in Vilamoura, the two that are closest to the apartment is Ali Super and Jaffer’s, both supplying plenty of fresh produce.
